I am so excited for this upcoming weekend, Oct 14 & 15, for my Open Studios.

This year, I want to host an above and beyond experience for my Open Studios Visitors. It will be an art-filled event to remember!

There will be Art + Music + Art Salon + Interactive Art = engaging day of art, thoughtful conversation and meaningful connection!

ART // I will be showing my new artwork, The 'AND' Series

A Prayer For Peace

The 'AND' Series I have been busy this past year creating a new body of work, called The 'AND' Series and I will be showcasing it at this year's Santa Cruz Open Studios. The 'AND' Series explores the healing concept of the word 'AND' in a political context. The word 'and' has many powerful meanings, such as acceptance, inclusivity, abundance, collaboration, etc... In addition, if we have a mindset that looks beyond a situation as being either black or white.... and open our eyes to the gray zone -- black AND white -- I believe that this is the realm where infinite possibilities, opportunities and solutions to our world problems exist to be explored and revealed! Please come visit my art studio and view my new paintings. I look forward to seeing you and am curious to learn about what your ideas are for healing our country and world.

CONVERSATION // ART INSPIRED SALON Since the paintings are a springboard for conversation, I am also hosting a mini art salon during open studios hours to provide a platform for thoughtful conversation and meaningful connection to happen!
