Every summer, my family and I travel to Costa Rica for an extended period of time.  I love life there.  The pace of life slows down, and we take time to BE together - cooking, eating, hiking in the jungle or surfing in the warm waters of the Osa.

Everyday, I take time out to do a painting mediation.  The watercolors here, I painted in Costa Rica and the acyrlic and mixed media on canvas paintings are inspired by the watercolors in an open and personally expressionistic way.

There is a popular greeting in Costa Rica, "Pura Vida."  The Pure Life.  The pura vida spirit is what I channel while painting and hope to capture on paper and canvas to share with you.
