INTO THE LIGHT SERIES
Paintings created on canvas, layered with Japanese rice paper, ink and hundreds of translucent layers of acrylic paint to give the paintings a luminescent glow of life.
The "Into the Light Series" is an exploration and celebration of inner strength. The flowers seem delicate and frail, yet they are powerful and strong. They weather the elements of nature and undeterred, they boldly move from the darkness of the shadows of Earth and bravely grow tall into the light.
